Who we house
Independent living, for people ready to live independently.
Impact Housing is for adults who can live on their own and want a safe, affordable, sober home. Here's who thrives here.
This is for you if…
You want a place to land and build from.
- You can move around, think clearly, and get out safely on your own in an emergency.
- You're ready to live in a drug- and alcohol-free home.
- You have a way to cover rent — income, benefits, or a partner organization.
- You want stability, affordability, and a respectful community.
Who we're proud to house
We've seen what a stable home can do.
Seniors on fixed income
Affordable, dignified housing that stretches a Social Security check — without sacrificing safety or community.
Veterans
A clean, sober, affordable home after service — a stable foundation to build from.
People re-entering after incarceration
We look at the person in front of us, not just the record. A record doesn't automatically disqualify you.
People leaving recovery or a shelter
The next step after a program or transitional shelter — a real home to settle into.
Working people priced out
When a one-bedroom is simply out of reach — a clean, stable home that doesn't break the budget.
Anyone needing a stable, affordable home
If you're ready to live independently and need a safe, affordable, sober place — you belong here.
Where we're not the right fit
To keep everyone safe, we can't house anyone who needs 24-hour care or supervision, or who can't evacuate on their own.
Beyond that, eligibility can depend on the specific home — so the best next step is a quick, judgment-free conversation about what fits.
Past eviction? Thin credit? A record? None of that automatically disqualifies you — we look at each person individually.
